- I'm a Brit who lived in the Middle East from 2004 to 2006. Whilst I was there I discovered earthTV on BBC World, where the "live on earth" webcams are sometimes shown before the hourly news. When I couldn't find any friends in the UK who knew what earthTV was, I created this blog.
